Ceiling and wall luminaires


 
 

For decades, BEGA light bricks have been outstanding lighting construction details. These are luminaires of timeless design. They are distinguished by high-quality hand-blown luminaire glasses with distinctly contoured glass edges in a characteristic form. The flat design of the glass and the large projection in relation to the fitting require maximum craftsmanship and characterise the aesthetic quality of the luminaires, which can be used as ceiling or wall luminaires.

Our opal glass has a high transparency level, is resistant to ageing, easy to clean and looks brilliant. If it is not vandalised, it can last indefinitely. Synthetic material is impact-resistant but collects dirt more easily than glass. This is why we recommend opal glass – except in particularly vulnerable areas.

Electrical safety

The luminaires in this catalogue are designed and produced on the basis of the EN 60598/VDE 0711 standards. The majority of the luminaires bear the relevant test mark on the type plate as well as on the packaging and instructions for use. The other luminaires have been or will be submitted for certification, but the certification and approval procedure is still in progress. We can provide information on the status of the certification procedure at any time. Special orders are produced in accordance with the above set of regulations.
