BEGA Koffer luminaires (box luminaires) have been a tried and tested design element in public areas for over fifty years. With some cautious changes, we have modernised these classics for today’s technical requirements. They feature not only a high protection class but also contemporary lighting technology. The asymmetrical flat beam light distribution is particularly suitable for illuminating streets in accordance with EN 13201.

The following accessories are available for these pole-top luminaires:
• Cross beams with an attack angle of 3° or 12° for installing the luminaires on surfaces, the corners of buildings or poles
• Pole tops for the installation of 2 or 3 luminaires on one luminaire pole

The luminaire luminous flux and the luminaire connected wattage quoted in the table might change as a result of technical progress. On our website you will find data sheets with information on each luminaire concerning not only the current values but also the LED service life and the luminous flux in relation to the respective colour temperature.

In a virtual presentation you can place up to five different luminaires simultaneously in any positions you like: in the house, around the house or in the garden. Electrical safety

The luminaires in this catalogue are designed and produced on the basis of the EN 60598/VDE 0711 standards. The majority of the luminaires bear the relevant test mark on the type plate as well as on the packaging and instructions for use. The other luminaires have been or will be submitted for certification, but the certification and approval procedure is still in progress. We can provide information on the status of the certification procedure at any time. Special orders are produced in accordance with the above set of regulations.
